It is with great pleasure that we can announce, following the ratification by our Selection Sub-committee, the appointment of Todd Sigalas as our 2010 U19 Coach and Mick Bennett as our 2010 U19 Assistant Coach.
Todd is an Old Camberwell Grammarian, a past player and a member of the Sigalas dynasty who have already contributed so much to this Club. Todd is coming to us from being the Junior Development Coach at Balwyn Football Club and his understanding of the modern game together with his in depth knowledge of many of the young men now playing at our Club will be invaluable.
Mick Bennett is continuing on from his very successful debut as Assistant Coach to Tim Killworth last season. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been a Coach and Assistant Coach at various junior levels, and was instrumental in enabling the Club to secure a number of ex-Camberwell HS students, something we have not been able to do in the past. Mick’s knowledge of those junior players who have arrived at the Club in 2008 and 2009 will be of huge benefit to Todd, as will his involvement with tactics and game plans in 2009.
We are very lucky to have these two committed ‘footy heads’ involved with the Club and they will be valuable members of our Football Operations.
