Congratulations to Daniel Schmidt who played his 150th game on the Anzac weekend.
Daniel first played for Old Camberwell in 2001 in the Under 19s who won a premiership in 2001 and 2002. He has played in Reserves Runners Up in 2003, 2006 and 2007 plus he has played in finals in 2001 to 2004 & 2006 to 2008.
Daniel has played the majority of his games in the Reserves and has kicked 143 goals to date. He received the Most Determined Reserves Player Award in 2009 and the Ron Wotton Award in 2007 & 2009.
Off the field Daniel has served on the Club Committee for the past few years in a number of varied roles.
Daniel's determination and love of the game is illustrated by the number of injuries he has overcome to realise his achievements. He had two shoulder reconstructions and two exploratory operations on his shoulder and a severely broken wrist before turning 17. He has had many hamstring injuries and last year snapped his index finger in two.
Daniel just loves playing footy and loves the club.
