WARNING ON PARKING AT GORDON BARNARD
The club has been advised that Boroondara Council is not happy with cars being parked alongside the fence at Gordon Barnard on the weekends. Cars have been driven up onto the park area to the left of the tanks.
Parking on park areas or along fences where there is not specific parking bays is not permitted in the City of Boroondara. Whilst parking of this nature is permitted at a number of other Melbourne grounds, it is now necessary to educate all spectators of the restrictions in Boroondara. The restrictions are there to protect the park surfaces for all users and ensure that the surrounds of the ovals are as in good condition as the ovals themselves.
PLEASE NOTE that cars are only permitted to park in designated spots and that vehicles will need to be parked further down the road if it's a busy game.
The Rangers have put up some bunting to curtail spectators and players parking in this area. It is quite possible that fines will be issued in the future so please be careful for your own sake.
